and Boarding Kennels

A1-K9 Boarding Kennels are now closed
Due to my (Brigitte) retirement, the Kennels are now closed.

For nearly 20 years my entire life revolved around my work with the dogs and their owners. I loved
my work with all my heart and I find it difficult to say good bye.

In the creation of the Kennels the main focus was on dog welfare. With that in mind, it was essential
to establish and maintain a calm, quiet and stress free environment, where all dogs would be happy.
It was a long journey through years of hard work, commitment, creativity, challenges, achievements,
joy and pride. It was also a journey full of love of dogs...given and received.

To maintain a calm environment with ever changing dogs was a constant challenge that required
total commitment, often day and night, to find new solutions to new problems. The time and effort
invested paid off big time and resulted in happy dogs in a calm kennels at all times. Over nearly 2
decades this peaceful and quiet work environment gave me the opportunity, to study dog behaviour
in hundreds of dogs. Especially the dogs that have stayed regularly with me throughout their life
time helped to give a great insight into the cause of behaviour issues.

Dogs have taught me, what they need, to be happy and contented and I made it my goal to find
forever new ways to fulfil those needs. It was like finding pieces for a puzzle to create a picture. Last
year I finally found the last pieces and with that my picture is complete.

With my established and proven concept it is easy to keep a dog happy. And a happy dog will want
to be good and well behaved. That is my experience!

I would like to say thank you to all my customers for trusting me with their dogs ; I have loved them
all! I am also very fond of the many wonderful and loyal customers that I have met over the years.
It is my sincere wish that our beautiful property will now be sold to a person or organisation that will
continue to use it as the oasis for animals and people that it is.
My very best wishes to everybody.
